  • The overall service is also evaluated based on the agreements made / the project plan;
  • We use the content of these evaluations in a continuous learning process. In this way we continue to improve our services.
In recent years, we have identified a number of issues that do not benefit the execution of projects.
Below is a brief outline.

Problems

  • Insufficient immediate availability of the right temporary employees;
  • Skills and knowledge of temporary employees do not match sufficiently with what is necessary for safe, qualitative and productive execution;
  • Insufficient availability of correct tools and personal protective equipment at the right time and place;
  • Management of foreign employees is insufficiently effective;
  • Too many mistakes made by employees with regard to properly reading before executing the work package;
  • Insufficient safety awareness.

Causes

  • General shortage of experienced technical and construction personnel;
  • Temporary personnel are insufficiently seen as a success factor of a project;
  • Personnel is often requested (too) late, while the expected work has been known for some time;
  • Relatively little is invested in the safety awareness of temporary employees;
  • Due to language and cultural differences, foreign employees are not effectively managed;
  • Too often, only the direct rate is considered instead of the quality and value of an employee.

Effects

  • High failure costs;
  • Many unsafe situations or (near) accidents;
  • Projects are not delivered on time;
  • Budget overrun;
  • Quality of the work does not match the expectations;
  • Unpleasant working atmosphere because a client has to constantly correct;
  • Dissatisfied clients.
